One of the really encouraging things that I’ve witnessed over the last few years is the increasing number of translations of good Christian books throughout the world. Here is one example – Masihi Isha’at Khana are publishing one of our John Piper books – Finally Alive into Urdu. This is an official language in five Indian states as well as the country of Pakistan. There are between 60 and 70 million native speakers of this language and it is the fourth most commonly spoken language in the world after Mandarin, English and Spanish. To see good theology being published into languages like this is exciting as we anticipate eagerly what God will do in these countries.
