I didn’t know Mr. Reymond but when writing my youth biography of John Calvin I regularly returned to his book John Calvin: His life and influence. I found it a great help in getting to grips with an historical character I’d heard about a lot but until that point had never really got to grips with. Along with Williston Walker’s book – John Calvin: Revolutionary, Theologican, Pastor – these two books were the foundation of the rather shorter and less weighty tome that I presumed to write. http://www.christianfocus.com/item/show/1248/-/sr_7
