Just about to finish my coffee then off home, to pack my overnight case before heading off to Drymen to stay with my sister Marianne and her family and then tomorrow morning off to do a book table at the Africa Inland Mission meeting at Perth Baptists. Looking forward to meeting Ruth Box again. My back seat is full of books – hope it’s a lot emptier when I go home on Saturday night.
Incidentally I heard from my sister that two tourists were really puzzled in the middle of one of the wettest weeks of a wet summer why the town they were staying in was called Dry-men…
For those of you who don’t know it’s pronounced
For those who might actually be at Perth Baptists tomorrow – I’ve got two really good offers
A week in the life of MAF – for just £2.
The Golden Chariot – for just £3
All other books discounted.
