Looking forward to Saturday

Saturday is going to be busy…. Coffee morning reception to welcome back our minister, John Ferguson and his wife, Louise, from their honeymoon. Then instead of a Christmas party for the kids we’re doing a craft afternoon. If you’ve ever looked up Children’s Christmas Crafts on Pinterest then you’ll know the sort of thing we’re doing. Snowmen made out of foam cups; decorating cheap ceramic mugs with sharpie pens; making a big Christmas tree out of cut out hand prints; decorating cookies; airplanes made out of lollypop sticks and clothes pegs. (that last one is for the boys)

Then in the evening I’m going to an event called a White Elephant Exchange. If you’ve never done that – look it up on the internet I’m sure you’ll find the instructions there. It’s great fun – even if you do end up going home with the really dodgy gift like a Red stiletto phone!
