I had to run out and buy a third copy of this book a few months ago as my last two copies have been “Borrowed”
Ho hum – as Winnie the Pooh would say. But once you read this book it won’t take you long to realise why they borrowed it.
Singleness is an issue that just will not go away. It is a gift – but not many young women would say that they want it. This book shows the beauty of that gift – but also reminds us that Marriage still may be a possibility – and what we should do as Christian women in the light of that.
The section on how women, single women, can be a godly influence on the next generation was an ecouragement and a challenge to me personally.
If you’re a guy and you’re looking at the pastel cover and you’re hearing hearts and flowers and going ‘No! Not my thing.’ Think again – there is a lot in here that you would find useful.
